We’ve just returned from Amsterdam where the Simoco team has been busy showcasing our latest DMR telemetry solution to the packed crowds at CCW 2016. Simoco Pulse was a big attraction with a wide range of critical comms professionals visiting the Simoco stand, and we engaged them by showing how low band telemetry data is becoming an increasingly important part of the mission critical-mix.
CCW, the world’s leading conference and exhibition dedicated to critical communications, was the biggest and most forward-looking to date. With debates surrounding critical communications in an era of data, applications and emerging technologies, key themes from this year’s event included the relationship between LTE and PMR technologies, smart cities, and cyber security.
Taking place from 31st May to 2nd June, the 18th year of the event offered more face-to-face opportunities for vendors and end user delegates to make connections during the three-day event than ever before, and included some great events such as the Heineken Museum networking party.
Companies attending came from a wide-range of vertical sectors, but we particularly enjoyed showing how Simoco Pulse delivers value to organisations operating in our key markets of transportation, utilities and public safety. Simoco Pulse uses our expertise in DMR to deliver a reliable telemetry solution to these organisations as they seek to manage and control smart grids and networks across wide operational areas. It is a cost-effective, scalable solution that offers the ability to transmit reliable voice and data communications over the same infrastructure.
